Athena Works Management

As a franchisee you can be sure of receiving the best possible support and expertise to allow your business to thrive. Technology is an important part of this and it is vital that as a business, we constantly look for ways to improve our processes.

Athena is a suite of three applications that work together to give transparency to our operations, allowing us to transport information quickly, and giving you better access to the information you need.


App 1 – Works Management

The first app is a powerful works management system. It was designed to allow us to log and track the progress of works throughout our network of suppliers. It is delivered via a flexible web-based platform, allowing access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via desktop, tablet or phone.


App 2 – Android technology

This app is a state-of-the-art Android solution, used by our engineers to receive work, conduct risk assessments, record work completed and observations, and to capture photographs and site signatures. It means that your engineers can quickly and efficiently record what they are doing and allows you to continuously monitor work in your franchise.


App 3 - Customer login portal,

This app allows your customers to log jobs online and access our records about work we have undertaken with them. In our aim to be transparent and efficient, this service was found to be highly desired by our customer base.


Innovative technology with specialist support?

Athena is a specialist system which has been designed in-house, with the needs of our business and our customers always at the forefront of our minds. It allows us to display a variety of client-specific operational requirements across the whole user base – from our office staff, right the way through to the engineers working on-site.

Because the system was designed in-house, we can also maintain and develop it internally which has meant it has evolved into a powerful management information tool, delivering flexible solutions in line with our clients’ needs.

If ‘technology isn’t your thing’ – don’t worry! Metro Rod employ a full time Athena trainer who can provide individual and group training nationally. We also provide 24 hour, 7 day a week support for the system, free of charge to all franchisees.
