All our engineers are based locally, and trained to the highest industry standards, so you can trust that we’ll have the expertise and all the right tools to put you right swiftly and safely. We’re close by when you need us, in a crisis or emergency, but available as well for regular drainage cleaning and drain maintenance services.

Your local team
David and Linda have been in the drainage business for the past 10 years. They started with a small one man one van business and then in November 2008 became a franchise to the Metrorod company covering Cumbria and Lancaster increasing their number of workforce, vehicles and commercial turnover.
David now takes an active role in the company since taking retirement 24 months ago. His roles include liasing with customers, marketing, pricing and quoting for work and overseeing the upkeep of vehicles and equipment and offering a spare pair of hands out on the road when required.
Linda runs the office with the assistance of their daughter Helen. Linda\\\'s roles include accounts and payroll, marketing and pricing for further works.
David and Linda's son Stephen has been part of the family business from the beginning. He has helped build from a small family business to a successful part of the Metro Rod team.
Steve is the Operations Manager aswell as a director of the company
His responsibilites include all customer liasons, the supervision of all engineers and work undertaken and the promotion of the business.
David and Linda\'s daughter Helen has worked for Metrorod for the last 3 years.
Her responsibilities include Health and Safety, Wincan surveying, mapping and plotting, marketing, personell related duties and all general administration to assist with the day to day running of Metrorod Cumbria
