Metro Rod London South were appointed by St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust to undertake an underground drainage survey as part of the enabling works for the A&E Resus expansion project.
Initially the extent of the works was discussed with their Technical Surveyor, who was both helpful and informative, and the site was duly surveyed the following day and a cost for the works accordingly provided.
Method statements and Risk Assessments were provided in a timely manner and ways to ensure site safety specific to the area, were incorporated. A full underground drain survey was undertaken over two days, in the emergency ambulance area in front of the Accident & Emergency Department, whilst the department remained fully operational. The Operatives carrying out the survey work were knowledgeable and helpful, providing regular updates where required. Hard and electronic copy reports and CAD drawings were received well within the agreed time frame along with an analysis of the findings and recommended remedial works and costings.
All in all I would say that I was extremely happy with the level of service that the Trust received from Metro Rod London South and I would be more than happy to both use them again on site and to recommend them as a competent contractor.

One of your Engineers, Joe Hammond, came out to see me today to sort out my toilet which was overflowing and draining slowly. I was so impressed with his handling of the job that I wanted to drop you a note.

He was so polite and efficient and got to the root of the problem very quickly. He explained everything really simply with no jargon and just got on with the job in hand despite the rain.His work was clean and very efficient.

I rarely come across tradesmen like Joe. He is an asset and a great example of excellent and trustworthy service.Please thank him for us.
