Exciting times as Metro Rod expand their sales team even further!
Metro Rod, one of the UK’s leading drainage repair and maintenance companies, are delighted to announce the appointment of two further Regional Sales Managers – John Oakes, who will cover London and the South East, and Sean Malone, covering the South West.
John has been involved in the drainage industry for most of his working life, which funnily enough started with his father, who ran the Metro Rod franchise in the Brighton area nearly 30 years ago! John worked for his father as an engineer before moving on to more managerial positions within various other drainage companies.
John comments, “My new role is essentially to help franchisees to grow sales locally. I will be focusing all my efforts on driving projects and contracts forward, with a particular focus on customer service – ensuring our clients are at the forefront of everything we do.
“This is an extremely exciting opportunity with a wide-ranging scope, as each franchise will have different requirements and aspirations for their business and it is my job to help them achieve their goals.”
Sean also has substantial sales experience in various industries including utilities, construction and drainage, and is eager to get started working alongside the 9 Metro Rod franchisees covered in his area.
