Metro Rod North East received this email from Mr Smith following our visit to Wardley Church, Gateshead after carrying out a CCTV survey. Prior to this, Mr Smith had employed the services of a competitor and had lost all confidence in drainage companies. We were pleased to be able to restore his confidence.

 

Lee and Rob turned up on time and had the main blockage sorted by about 11 am. Needless to say we are delighted with that result. They were also able to confirm that there had been no collapse of the drains along the whole route, but that there were a number of ‘loose’ joints and one in particular where a small piece of the drain had fractured away. They were able to return the hire equipment over lunch time, and they returned to clean up all the rainwater goods/feeder drains in the afternoon.

We were impressed by their professional approach and their communication about any remaining deficiencies on the CCTV. We discussed this with Lee who was very helpful.

Finally would definitely request that Lee & Rob did the further work since we now have a confidence in them and in your company.

Metro Rod cleared a blocked drain and carried out a CCTV survey for this client who was thrilled with the professional service of our trained engineer. The beginning of the letter received discusses the problem then moves on to indicate that Metro Rod were asked to come to site but not until after 4.30pm.

“Thus Mr Derek Whittle arrived at approximately 5.30pm. There are insufficient superlatives to express the professional, diligent expertise of this gentleman with the most horrendous tasks to confront, in darkness and freezing temperatures. He was Informative, composed and such an excellent disposition in dealing with the public.

I remained with Mr Whittle throughout until 8pm. ….. the task for Mr Whittle was “beyond the pale” having to remove this heavy, concentrated effluence.

Mr Whittle executed this disgusting task without complaint, with complete composure, paying attention to safety at all times.

Your personal appraisal to Mr Whittle would be very much appreciated along with our sincere gratitude, so well deserved.

We were called out by this domestic customer for an emergency blocked drain in Cramlington as she was having construction work done. Metro Rod cleared the drain and the construction work could go ahead.

 

“I would like to thank your customer service team and your engineer for reacting so quickly to my blocked surface water drain today.

 

As I was in the process of getting my driveway concreted it was discovered that the drain within the existing concrete was blocked so there would be nowhere for any rain water to drain. This meant that my house may have flooded after heavy rain.

 

In order for the concreting company to install their drain I made a call to your office and was professionally dealt with and the engineer could not have been more helpful.
