In their own words

This is a fast paced manufacturing site, focussed on production 24/6 or longer that has a short planning horizon, often demanding response in hours not days. Metro Rod are responsive and flexible, demonstrating professionalism and a desire to work with us to deliver the required result, on time, to the required quality and to agreed budget.

Metro Rod Notts and Derby have solved problems with our drains, toilets, effluent transfer and process water systems including extensive CCTV surveys, site drawings updates, provision of no-dig pipe liners to repair leaking drains in situ and provision of tankers and temporary pumps and lines for emptying and transfer of contents.

We have contracted them to provide regular planned emptying and disposal from our interceptors and jetting of effluent drains.

Metro Rod pricing is transparent and excellent value for the work they have done for us and I have no hesitation in recommending them for similar work.

"I called Metro Rod to St Anthony's Church in Callerton as we had a blocked drain which was flooding the car park. They came very quickly and the engineer was very efficient and pleasant. Great service would definitely reccomend this company."

I called Metro Rod to unblock an outside drain at a property I rent out. Unfortunately it blocked up again the next day, but they were back out straight away, and this time after making sure it was totally clear (a child's plastic toy came out), they put the camera down the full length of pipework (approx 15 meters) to prove it was clear. It shows a commitment on their part to see the job done, and of course they only charged for the one visit. As a landlord its good to find companies who see the job through and don't try and rip you off. Would certainly recommend them.

Metro Rod attended my house and within a very short time had identified the problem with my blocked drains which had so far defeated two other companies, 9 months of foul smells, and approx £10,000 of work for my insurance company. I wish they had been the first on the scene. I can not speak highly enough of their professionalism, concientious attiude and willingness to see the job through - despite this being anything but straight forward. There were very pleasant and courteous and explained all that I needed to know. Really excellent service that I am happy to reccomend

Excellent service all round. The Metro Rod engineer arrived within an hour, diagnosed and fixed the problem there and then. An extremely professional service and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them!

We have been battling for some time with the ancient drains surrounding Trebeck Hall. Despite regular rodding by our handyman they caused frequent unpleasant problems. We decided to give Metro Rod a go and have been very pleased with the results. They arrived quickly to jet out blocked foul drains then examined with CCTV to get to the cause of the on-going problems. They discovered that there were tree roots breaking into the drains. This was resolved by cutting away the roots and applying permanent patches inside the drains to ensure a smooth flow.

We have had another camera survey which showed the problem of roots continues past Bishop’s Manor to the main sewer and we are planning to permanently overcome these problems by asking Metro Rod to insert a liner across the main troublesome sections after cutting away the offending roots.

I would recommend Metro Rod. It was money well-spent and we felt it was excellent value.

Thanks a million for sorting me out yesterday. Such a relief to have it all sorted so quickly so everything is working properly again.

I e-mailed Metro Rod early yesterday morning when I discovered both the bath and sink were backing up and flooding the kitchen. Also the sink has been slow to drain recently.

I was out at work but was contacted immediately and an engineer was soon round to sort it all out.

He was very polite, knew exactly what he was doing and left the site nice and clean.

And so pleasant too! Please pass on my thanks.
