Tricia Craig, Franchise owner of Metro Rod (North East) attended the British Franchise Awards at a black tie ceremony in Birmingham on Thursday 29th September and won the highly prestigious award ‘Female Franchisee of the Year’.
The BFA recognise the UK’s most exceptional franchise businesses and for Tricia to win this award shows her commitment to Metro Rod North East and drive for success for her and her team. Having increased staff and turnover year on year, even in a recession and continually investing in new technology proves Tricia an extremely worthy winner.
Tricia said “I am thrilled and proud for the whole team; we pride ourselves on our high level of service, whoever the customer is. Long may it continue.”
Pip Wilkins, BFA chief executive, said: “As judges we felt genuinely inspired by Tricia’s ability to adapt and grow throughout all market conditions, while maintaining a focus on her team throughout. To have expanded her business through good times and bad over 17 years shows a rare resilience and tenacity which is why she excels as an entrepreneur.”
Congratulations to Tricia from all of her team at Metro Rod North East, we are all extremely proud of her.
Also, congratulations to Ben Witcombe from Metro Rod Newport, Hereford and Gloucester who at 26 won ‘Young Franchisee of the Year’. Needless to say there were great celebrations on the Metro Rod table for being double winners!
