We have recently had new additions to the Metro Rod West Yorkshire team; an apprentice, general assistant and plumbing engineer who are being trained in all aspects of drainage by highly trained Director, Dave Carter and his team. Yorkshire born and bred, our director has worked in the drainage industry both as an engineer and trainer over 30 years. Dave supports his engineers in every way possible, being a ‘hands-on’ manager, offering advice and guidance to all his engineers.

We require several engineers to join the team to cover the West Yorkshire area. The successful applicants will be skilled not only in Plumbing but High-Pressure Water Jetting, CCTV Surveys and Drainage Rehabilitation. Some of these skills would be an advantage although training for the right candidate would be given.
What do we do and what do we need?
Clearing blocked drains, gutter clearing, drain repair and services
Battling against bad smells, rising toilets, blocked drains and sinks. We use specialist drain cleaning services such as high-pressure water jetting and electro-mechanical cleaning. Emergency and pre-planned maintenance, we work to support our customers 24/7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
Metro Rod West Yorkshire has a vacuum tanker that provided the best method for flood water relief, providing quick removal of water and other debris. Suction is via a 5” hose and we can remove 3000 gallons of dirty water in a matter of minutes. Our tanker services include: flood relief, emptying of road gullies, large jetting operations on large sewers and to remote areas.
