Reactive call out for a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. On arrival to the children's play area, the entire area was flooded, overflowing in numerous places also affecting the internal toilet facilities. Engineer traced line back up to manhole, high pressure water jetting was carried out downstream, bringing back, silt/mud deposits. Engineer continued to jet to remove further debris, a tanker extraction was required to remove all excess water.
Tanker unit attended site, located a buried chamber which was found to be blocked. Extraction of the standing water was then carried out, removing the blockage. Jetting was then completed to ensure full flow back to the mains.
As this was a very warm day, the water on the ground dried up quickly, leaving behind debris that had dried like paper.
Removal of blockage and debris completed. Another "Suck"cessful extraction.
