Metro Rod Stoke took home the prestigious "Franchise Of The Year" award at Metro Rod's annual conference this year. The annual conference was held at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort based in Wales. With the day consisting of senior management laying out next years plans and this years results, the evening was all about recognising members of staff across the national network of franchises with an awards dinner.
"The Franchise Of The Year" award is the one that everyone waits for and comes right at the end of the evening. Nick Coope, owner of Metro Rod Stoke thought they has missed out on it this year, but as Metro Rod's Managing Director, Peter Molloy, started his introduction speech leading up to the announcement of the winner, Nick realised that Peter's story was about him and his wife! Sure enough, Metro Rod Stoke was then named as the winner for Franchise of the Year 2019.

Nick Coope, owner of Metro Rod Stoke said the following:
"It is an honour to win this award. It’s a great feeling when the work of your team and your investment and vision are recognised but I wouldn't have been able to do this without my wife and my team back in Stoke. The future is bright at Metro Rod, with so many things happening since Franchise Brands has taken over and now that Willow Pumps has come on board. The main question I'm asking now? Can we win it again next year? We will definitely try our hardest!"
