As of the 23rd March, Metro Rod workers have been deemed key workers by the government, and we are working hard to limit the risks to both our engineers and customers. As ever our top priority is health and safety and we are working in line with the new government rules to ensure that our engineers have the correct PPE. Each new job is being assessed at the time of call to provide a full picture before entering the site, which includes knowing whether anyone on site has contracted the virus or is in self-isolation. By following these steps Metro Rod Stoke can keep business open and fully functioning during these uncertain times.

A Quick Reminder

With much the country staying safe at home we would like to remind you of a few do’s and don’ts for your drains:

• Do remember the 3 Ps (Poo, Pee, Paper) when flushing the toilet
• Do try using down the drain chemicals followed by boiling water
• Do try using a toilet plunger
• Do use an In-shower hair catcher to avoid clogging up the pipes

• Don’t flush wet wipes
• Don’t flush kitchen roll
• Don’t flush sanitary products
• Don’t pour excess fat and grease down the sink
