Experts at Pump Repair

With full UK coverage and expert engineers on hand, rest assured we can provide a professional, fast response, and tidy pump repair work with exceptional customer service that will have you back up and running in no time.

When a pump station fault occurs, a quick response is required to address any issue or underlying problem such as a failed pump, failed control system component or blockage.

Pump station breakdowns can cause huge amounts of inconvenience and disruption to your working day. Whilst it may be tempting to switch the control panel into manual and override the warning lights, we strongly advise getting a professional in to take a look. A simple issue addressed quickly can save a much bigger problem from occurring if left unseen to – causing more inconvenience and unwanted business costs.

Causes of Pump Station Failures

A fault can usually be identified by the warning light and/or audible alarm on your control panel, or if you notice foul smells. Causes for this could be:

  • Debris or fat, oil and grease built up in the pump chamber
  • A blockage in the pipes leading to the pump chamber
  • Wear and tear on the pump
  • Electrical faults
  • Float faults
  • Rust and corrosion

Pump Repair Services FAQ's

How long will it take to get my pump repaired?

The time it takes to carry out pump repairs can vary depending on the problem at hand.

Our engineers carry a range of common components which are subject to failure and can often have your pumping station working in a matter of hours. Where major components have failed, we can often re-configure the system to run on a single pump until spares arrive.

Typically when a pumping station fails, it’s designed to allow up to 24 hours use before it overflows. If you’re worried about the pump overflowing, we can also offer additional assurance using our fleet of tankers to remove the contents until a permanent repair is completed.

How much will it cost to get my pump repaired?

Pump designs vary enormously depending on size and the distance they pump the effluent. Our local engineers will be able to provide you with an indication of the costs, however, before they start the work they will carry out an initial investigation and be able to provide a full quote.
