The drainage engineers smart, indeed formal, uniforms stand out though we assume that ties were removed before operating drain-cleaning machinery !
Inbetween times the picture below updates things a decade or so to some point in the 1990s. Leaving aside the slightly North Korean set-up of the photograph it's interesting to see the larger drainage vans of today making their appearance although trailer jetting units are also visible.
