After ending 2019 on a high (after many changes throughout the year) Metro Rod Liverpool have continued that high into January 2020! Already the local 1st choice for drain unblocks and many associated drainage activities in the Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn, Southport, Skelmersdale, St Helens and Widnes areas, Metro Rod Liverpool have once again invested in staff and vehicles to extend this upward trend!
This year already we have taken on two new General Operatives. These are the next generation of drainage engineers. These operatives are Chris and Ben. Chris and Ben are now getting extensive training in all aspects of drain care and repair. This includes unblocks, cleaning of sink and urinal pipework, high pressure water jetting and eventually CCTV surveys and confined space entry operations.

(we have twins, 2 sets of cousins, a husband and wife and a father and 2 sons working here!) Ben is the son of Steve, one of our senior engineers and Chris is the cousin of one of the bosses of a PAS (NW) - a groundwork company that we regularly work for (is this clutching at straws now!?). There is also another brother set to join us in the next few weeks (watch this space!). We feel that the family connections that we have here at Metro Rod Liverpool really strengthen us – we work and operate as a small ‘family business’; ultimately our staff all trust eachother and work together like family. However, we also have the back up and support of being a part of the national Metro Rod family. We really have the best of both worlds!

2020 is the start of many new things for Metro Rod Liverpool. We have 2 new contracts that have recently begun, meaning that we are now servicing over 15,000 more houses for local Housing Association tenants. This is testament to the great work that Metro Rod already carryout for these customers; we are very proud that we have won these contracts. We also are in talks with several other large clients to deliver all of their drainage needs across their estates – truly exciting times!
As 2020 develops so will Metro Rod Liverpool. We're confident that locally we will become the number one trusted drainage company to deliver drain care and repair throughout the local wider Merseyside area. We will do this by being reliable (never letting a customer down), honest and professional at all times. Metro Rod Liverpool will be there when a customer needs us, day or night. We will be communicative at all times. We will keep our customers informed to what the problems on their site are and what the best solution would be. We will continue to invest; in equipment, vehicles, staff and training; to ensure that our customers always have fully trained, competent engineers, reliable equipment. Basically, the best service that they can get locally!
