Senior Lead Engineer
Sophie is the brains of the office, she knows the ins and outs of the business and how it works. She is responsible for dispatching the engineers to the jobs, closing down and invoicing the jobs and holding up the office in general. If you have any questions, Sophie is the woman for you. She has been working for the franchise since November 2018 and has learnt the Metro Rod ways exceptionally fast. She is increasingly enthusiastic about her job and is happy to learn anything new that means she is able to thrive at what she does best. In her spare time, she loves a good game of bingo.
JOANNA WEBB RUDDOCK
Jo is a Back Office Administrative which is a specialised administrative assistant role to deal with specific duties relating to the admin of three key elements of our business. Jo’s is also in charge of CCTV Surveys to complete them once the engineers have uploaded the CCTV survey to our system. Which then Jo can watch and ensure that all faults in the line are recorded. PPM’s are also another part of Jo’s role to oversee and ensure that PPM’s are organised to be completed within the deadline.
Jo has been here since October 2016, before she worked at Asda from the age of 16 – part time while studying and then later did a management scheme which she passed and then became the manager of Asda. Jo was there for 10 years and then became a Customer Service Executive at G4S for 9 years then wanted a career change and became a back office administrative in Drainage at Metro Rod.
Senior Lead Engineer
Gary is one of our longest serving engineers and has worked with Metro Rod Brighton since 2013. Gary is experienced in high-pressure water jetting, confined spaces drain re-lining and excavation work. Gary is a very polite and punctual individual and we are proud to have him as part of our team. He is happy to take on any aspect of work and will do his utmost best to solve the problem. Aside from working exceedingly hard during work hours, he enjoys fishing and socializing in his spare time.
Chris recently joined the Metro Rod Brighton & Gatwick Team and is one of our many fully qualified drainage and plumbing engineers.
Gary is a new drainage engineer who has recently joined the team and will be covering the Kent area. He is a brilliant addition to our team as he has 27 years experince in the drainage industry under his belt.
