Toilet Replacement or Repair
A leaking or otherwise broken toilet can be a real nuisance – and if left in a state of disrepair, could cause extensive water damage to your property. Metro Plumb can offer toilet repair or toilet replacements as part of our list of services. You may notice one of the following:
- Toilet won’t flush
- Toilet pan is constantly filling up
- Water is overflowing out of the overflow pipe
Commonly, a broken float or ball valve means that the cistern fills up slowly or incorrectly. Additionally, if your float fails to shut off the water supply, this can lead to excess water being poured into the overflow. A broken siphon in the cistern can also prevent the toilet from flushing correctly.
Diagnosis
One of our plumbers will visit your property to identify what is causing the problem and carry out the repair. Our plumbers are trained to work on a variety of different types of toilets. If your toilet is not functioning correctly or is leaking, we can either replace the whole toilet or repair any problems.
If a repair will not be economical and it would be cheaper to replace the toilet, we will advise you of this and carry out the replacement like-for-like.
