First Contact

“Can someone help me with a blocked drain at my property?” “I’m in need of a CCTV survey at my business.” “Could I arrange for a plumber to fix my leaking taps?”

We hear all of the above on a daily, even hourly basis! When you call us at Metro Rod Deeside, you’ll speak with one of our office members. From here, they’ll take some basic information from you; the address of the property/business, a contact number and name, and a detailed description of the issue you’re currently facing. From this description our office staff will know exactly the kind of solution needed, we offer all solutions from a Van Pack Jetter to Tanker Services!

 

In House Communication

From here, we are able to discuss with our Operations Manager how quickly we can get someone to you, depending on where our engineers are located at that time. We pride ourselves on ensuring we can reach you in under fours hours in an emergency. Once that message has been replayed to you, we lock in the appointment and it’s full speed ahead.

We use a specialist work management system in the office. Each job is logged onto the system, entering all relevant details. Once this has been done, the job is sent to our engineers smartphones. The engineer will receive a message with all the details of the works required and he will then be able to start his journey to your property/business. If you’re happy for us to do so, we can even let the engineer contact you when they are closing in on your location.

 

Direct Contact

Our engineer has arrived at your property, he can get to work! Using the same works management system he is able to communicate with us here in the office, providing us with appropriate risk assessments and photographs so we know exactly what’s been done at your property to fix the issue.

 

Our engineers are a friendly bunch, they will happily explain the issues they find along the way whilst helping you with your drains, toilets and sinks. Once the issue is identified, they’ll be able to go through with you, exactly what works they’ll be carrying out to rid you of those pesky drainage issues. Following completion of the works and once the area is cleaned and disinfected, you simply sign our completion notes. Once this is done, our engineer will send the report of works carried out back to the office and we are able to see the report from base, we can even provide you with a copy should you wish too!

 

Completion

Once the engineers report has arrived back with us in the office, we can see exactly the works that have been carried out. From the risk assessment, to the times he was on site, to the photographs of the affected area. All that information is stored in our management system and is available to you, the customer, whenever you would like to see it! Simply put a request in through the engineer before he leaves site with you or give us a call and we can have it over to you in no time at all.
