The Team

Colin Witcomb

Director

Colin became a franchisee in 2006, he shares the role of Director with his son Ben. Colin has grown the business from a single van operating out of his garage into the business we are today. We proudly have a fleet of 6 vans, 2 tankers and a CCTV 4x4 unit. Colin’s hard work paid off in 2016 when we were awarded Metro Services Groups’ ‘Franchise of the Year Award’.

Colin is a keen rugby supporter and is a proud sponsor of Ebbw Vale RTBs as well as many other local endeavours over the last 10 years. Colin became a grandfather to baby Maggie in March 2016 and now spends his time between the business and his family.

Ben Witcomb

Director

Ben became Director of our franchise in May 2012 and has been the driving force behind our growth ever since. Under his management our franchise has incorporated the Gloucester area and we are proudly now Metro Rod (Newport, Hereford and Gloucester). Ben has always been associated with the business since his father first became a franchisee in 2006. He has developed a vast technical knowledge and large array of skills.

In 2016 Ben won the HSBC BFA Young Franchisee of the Year Award.
