Celebrating Excellence From Our Expert Engineer, Harry Brewer!

Harry Embodies Everything We Want Our Engineers To Stand For

In a time when costs and service standards are increasingly prioritised by customers across the country, we want to take a moment to share the kind of good news that truly makes Metro Rod stand out – people like our engineer, Harry Brewer, from our Metro Rod London North franchise.

Some highlights of this incredible feedback include Harry being described as “excellent” and the customer stating that they “don’t want to lose him from their site due to his ability to spot issues early and resolve them swiftly”, as well as Harry being praised for his communication, professionalism and empathy – keeping residents informed throughout a complex job and putting their needs first.

A further email stated that Harry took the time to speak to young people about careers in drainage and plumbing, helping inspire the next generation. This was done entirely off his own back without our awareness, actions which make Harry a true ambassador of Metro Rod.

We recently spoke to Harry about his role as a Metro Rod engineer and how he’s able to provide such exceptional customer service. From speaking with him, it’s clear to see that he embodies everything our engineers should strive for: customer service, communication, community impact, and professionalism. When asked about his secret to good customer service, Harry said

“I’m just an outgoing, cheeky chappy who’s not afraid to talk to anyone, it’s important to be professional and straight to the point when talking to clients about their drainage issues to ensure they understand the situation”

We also asked Harry about his one tip for good customer service, to which he quickly replied

“Be honest and polite, it’s pretty simple really”

Harry, who has been working for Metro Rod London North for the past 3 years, also stated that the best thing about his job is that it “feels like family, and you’re not made to feel like just a number” and he was especially complimentary about his bosses, our franchisees, Dan Malone and Stacy Andrews, and would like to add in a big thank you to them for being who they are and doing what they do – very supportive bosses.

It’s clear to see how passionate Harry is about his job and, more importantly, our customers. He embodies everything we want our engineers to stand for, and we are immensely proud of the work he does every day. Well done Harry!
