Our Project

Metro Rod has recently begun the 2nd round of a street cleaning project. Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council awarded the street cleaning project which involves cleaning all 5 town centers in Blaenau Gwent, for instance:

• Ebbw Vale
• Brynmawr
• Tredegar
• Abertillery
• Blaina

Metro Rod is set to complete work that involves a variety of things, for example, the cleaning of all pavements, public areas, signage, bus stops, and street furniture. Above all, the council is committed to improving the cleanliness of the local area, and we are proud to be involved in such a project. That is to say that it aims to restore pride in the communities where our business resides.

On weekends a team of engineers equipped with high-pressure water jetting equipment carries out the workload. In conclusion, the specialist equipment peels away dirt and algae build-up to leave a clean finish to all areas of the town.
