One of our local construction clients are the Manchester-based Bemus Construction, and have contracted Metro Rod Manchester and Macclesfield on a number of occasions for both CCTV drain surveys and large-scale drain cleaning on their live sites.
The last time that we were contracted to carry out a CCTV drain survey for Bemus Construction was early 2019, where we were asked to use our crawler camera to survey one of the lines in order to check the structural integrity of this part of the drainage system. This work took our specialist CCTV drain survey engineer, Paul, roughly 2 hours 40 minutes to complete.

Bemus Construction also used Metro Rod Manchester and Macclesfield recently for a drain cleaning task at one of their live sites in Ardwick. There were a number of gullies on site that were filled with construction silt and debris. Due to the size of the site and the amount of affected outlets, this large scale drain cleaning task took one of our engineers just under 5 hours to complete but we then had to return the following day to carry out more drain cleaning works. The second visit took a full day on site to rid of all the debris from the site’s drains, taking 2 engineers just over 8 hours to complete!
