If you've been keeping an eye on our main website page here, you'll have seen some new names and faces pop up in our 'Meet The Team' section! If not, never fear, we're here to introduce you to your newest local drainage experts here at our Deeside depot!
From excavations, to lining and patching, to tanker driving, to jetting. There's nothing that can stop our engineers when they're this experienced!
Since our last article introducing you to our team (you can find that here) we've had a host of new engineers join our ranks! Time to meet them too!
Matt is our newest resident CCTV engineer. Matt has a wealth of experience with both our smaller MiniCam SOlo Pro cameras (perfect for smaller, domestic and commercial pipework) all the way to our Proteus Crawler camera system which handles the surveying of larger drainage pipework. Having been in the drainage industry for ... years, he's also no stranger to our High Pressure Water Jetters, Ultra High Machines, and even our larger Tanker jetting equipment. We're glad to have Matt and his wealth of knowledge on our team!
Matt's fun fact; Matt recently became a granddad and he's very much looking forward to spoiling his granddaughter for many years to come!
Lee has joined us a General Assistant here at the depot. But he's by no means in-experienced! Lee has previously worked on Van Packs carrying out routine maintenance on blockages in his previous role, he's now expanding his knowledge with us as a second man with our Tanker and CCTV Survey teams, working on larger sites. Lee is a local lad, only living a few miles from the office, so he knows the area very well, a great asset!
Lee's fun fact; Lee is an avid football fan and is a massive supporter of one of our local teams; Chester!
Sean is what we like to call 'an all-rounder' from Van Packs to Tankers to Lining to Excavations, he's done it all! Like all our new engineers Sean began with us by shadowing one of our senior/long standing engineers. But it wasn't long until he was out in his own van and helping the good people of North Wales, Chester and Wirral with their drainage issues! Sean is also local to our office, he knows his way round our area like the back of his hand!
Sean's fun fact; Sean is a motorcycle fanatic, he's fit right in with bike chats in our office with our Marketing Manager, Eleri and Ops Manager Rich!
Jaynus is our newest Tanker driver, having worked on recycler Tankers in the past he comes with all the driving and operative experience you could ever need! He was certainly thrown in at the deep end and has been glued to the seat of our Gully Sucker Tanker for the past few weeks, assisting in larger drainage issues on main lines, large gullies and catch pits. He's been working alongside one of our more experienced General Assistants, Sam, who we've now dubbed as the A-Team!
Jaynus' fun fact; Jaynus has his own little bundle of joy on the way, we're ecstatic for him!
Colin has been with us for few months now and it feels like he's always been here! He's a real hands on engineer, leading our excavations team, he manages the repairs of all broken and defected pipework which we come across whilst working for our clients. Colin is never afraid to get stuck in and is always happy to pick up that one extra job on his way home. His knowledge of drainage systems is vast and this is a great help to us when we're recognising defective pipework and how to resolve issues. He's also a dab hand at plumbing, no blocked toilet or leaky tap gets past him when he's on a job!
Gary previously worked in drainage for many years before moving to Spain. He's now back and working here at our Deeside depot! Gary also started off shadowing one of senior engineers and has progressed his way into his own van. Gary is mostly one of our busy reactive engineers, he's out and about on a daily basis attending urgent blockages in our customers homes and businesses across our area. Armed with a an impressive Van Pack Jetter and camera, he'll have your drains flowing freely quicker than you can make him a cup of tea!
Dom is one of our new General Assistants and he's taken to the role like a duck to water. He assists the engineers by being a second pair of hands. Whether that be manning the jetter, getting stuck in with a shovel or reeling a camera. He's slowly getting his hands on everything and learning the ropes. Dom is also our resident clean-freak and has spent some time in our yard organising our stores and getting everything ship shape, it's always a tidier place once Dom's got his hand on it!
Dom's fun fact; Dom's car is his world, he meticulously cleans and polishes his car for shows across the country!
