"I'm writing to provide feedback on one of your engineers that attended a drain issue at my mother's property in Prestwich, Manchester, a couple of weeks ago.

The engineer was called Danny Hitchen and he was excellent. He attended promptly, and quickly assessed the situation. Despite the difficult conditions, he was cheerful throughout, provided confidence that he would be bale to resolve it, and true to his word. he was able to sort the issue that evening - much to the relief of my 91 year old mother.

He was able to clearly explain where he thought the problem was, and then work methodically using a variety of tools to locate and then rectify the problem. He is a real asset to your organisation. Following his visit, I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to family and friends should they have a drainage issue in the future. "Really pleased with Tony from Metro Rod. He came out the same day and sorted the problem. (I was clearing the channels on my septic tank and got the rods stuck). They charge for the first hour, then each half an hour after. He did the job with time to spare so cleaned the rest of the system for me. Very professional, I'll use these again next time!"

Both attended the building on Friday then quickly located the source of the problem, immediately started a clean-up, put a temp fix on the cracked pipe and then fully disinfect the area and reported what's needed to make good on a follow up visit. On a Friday afternoon with the city centre hosting a big protest, the guys were brilliant. Please pass on my thanks to them both."
