I’d like to express my thanks to the gentleman who came out today to sort out a blocked drain. Even though it wasn’t an “emergency” Metrorod came out within a few hours and your engineer was very polite and cheerful despite it being bitterly cold. He did a thorough job, explaining what he was doing as he did it and I think he should be commended for such a professional way of working – he reflects very well on Metrorod.

Just wanted to say that the team at MetroRod did a very good job! In particular Jean in the office was extremely helpful, she did everything in her power to assist me and my household leak. Ian the engineer was very pleasant and completed the work with minimum mess and fuss, he soon had me back up and running again. It is also very nice to get a follow up phone call about the service that I received.
We do work for several Social Housing Clients in the North East, they rang to say that they had an emergency blocked drain and the tenant had no use of their toilet. We were able to get someone out within one hour to resolve the issue for the tenant. The Social Housing Client had this to say:
"Thank you for such a prompt response, this is a great service"
We are pleased we were able to help resolve the issue quickly for the client.
Jean took the call on a Sunday and she spoke to me is such a lovely manor, calm and clear she was amazing. I explained that I had a problem with 'screaming pipes' and found it like a stressful white noise. The engineers arrived, found the problem straight away, talked me through their processes and were able to isolate the air in the pipes. I could have cried with happiness. My family and I had left the property as the noise was too much, and we have now been able to return.
