Mike and Eddie attended a property last week and we received the following feedback from site;

"I am just dropping a line over to you to say how pleased we were with the prompt service that we received yesterday.  From the manner in which the initial intimation was handled to the prompt arrival of your engineers, they carried out the task with enthusiasm despite the time of the job (1700) ensuring that not only the blockage itself was cleared but also the rainwater traps, mitigating any future issues, finally disinfecting the site and the street footpath during the cleandown.

Please pass on our regards to Mike Wilkinson and his 'Dutch Colleague' (the lad in the orange wellies site joke!). I have no hesitation in future recommendations to your service."

We recently received a card through the post highlighting the great work that Eddie had carried out for a customer.  She wrote;

"Today Eddie from your company came out to unblock a drain.  He was with 'the job' for a long time, he involved myself and showed me all the issues that had caused the problems, he was exceptionally efficient and totally thorough.  He has said that he will come back (if agreed) to do a thorough clean up of all of the drains.  he picked up on so many other issues and discussed recommendations.  It was so nice to deal with such a friendly person who clearly knew his job and was so thoroughly professional in every aspect.  If whomever reads this could please let Eddie know that I have written this as I felt that it needed to be expressed that he is an asset to your company".

I’d like to express my thanks to the gentleman who came out today to sort out a blocked drain. Even though it wasn’t an “emergency” Metrorod came out within a few hours and your engineer was very polite and cheerful despite it being bitterly cold. He did a thorough job, explaining what he was doing as he did it and I think he should be commended for such a professional way of working – he reflects very well on Metrorod.

Just wanted to say that the team at MetroRod did a very good job! In particular Jean in the office was extremely helpful, she did everything in her power to assist me and my household leak. Ian the engineer was very pleasant and completed the work with minimum mess and fuss, he soon had me back up and running again. It is also very nice to get a follow up phone call about the service that I received.

We do work for several Social Housing Clients in the North East, they rang to say that they had an emergency blocked drain and the tenant had no use of their toilet. We were able to get someone out within one hour to resolve the issue for the tenant. The Social Housing Client had this to say:
