I had reported a drainage problem to Anglian Water which you followed up on. Your engineer Thinus arrived late afternoon the following day after contacting me as requested.

I would like you to pass on my thanks to Thinus for his professional approach to the problem.

He was very polite, positive and efficient, but didn’t rush the job due to the late hour of the day. He was able to clear the problem, after a number of attempts, but it was obvious that he wouldn’t leave prior to the problem being completely clear. I am grateful for his efforts.

I had a blocked rainwater down pipe at the rear of the property. When I rang your company and explained the problem you gave me an appointment very quickly. I requested an afternoon appointment and you offered me between 12:00 and 5pm. You then called me to say that your engineer would be with my slightly earlier as they had finished the previous job and would that be ok? I said ‘yes’ and I would see him onsite in about 30 minutes.

When Matt arrived he was very polite, introduced himself and said what he was planning to do. All while he was working he kept me informed of what he was doing and what was going on. After about 45 minutes of investigating Matt said it seems to be an Anglian Water issue and he would contact the office and get them to attend and Anglian Water would be in contact to make an appointment.

I have used other drainage companies in the past as I have four other properties, I will be contacting only MetroRod in the future if I have any problems as you were so helpful and efficient. Out of 10 Metro Rod would score 11+
