I am emailing to say how extremely impressed I was today with the quality of customer service that I received from Stacy and John. When I rang this morning with my query re my blocked drain, I was very stressed out and anxious. Stacy answered the call within a couple of rings and she was supportive and caring. She acted quickly and efficiently to organize an engineer and kept me updated re the ETA time of the engineer. John rang me when he arrived at my property. He was very friendly and clearly explained the problem to me and advised me to call Thames water. I will definitely call upon your service again if needed and I will recommend Metro Rod to my friends.

Further to the visit from Martin and Ian last week to our property on Bracondale. I am writing to thank them for their courtesy, hard work and overall professionalism in dealing with the drainage problems that we were experiencing.

Following an initial survey, Martin came back a second time to jet through and clear one pipe in order to work out the best solution that would meet our needs. When they arrived a week or so ago, Martin and Ian were completely professional, courteous, helpful and tidy. The quality of the work was first class and the building inspector was very pleased when she visited on Friday afternoon. The reinstatement was of a very high quality and all rubbish was removed from site on completion of the work.

As you are aware this has been a rather stressful experience for us as the drainage problems were preventing our bathroom from being used, and we are enormously grateful to you and your crew for the work carried out in diagnosing and then resolving the problems. I cannot praise your team too highly.

Great service throughout

We went out to a home in Wantage to assist a couple with their blocked drain. We sent out our engineer Seb to investigate. The problem turned out to be a little bigger than anticipated and in order to make access for his electro-mechanical cables to get into the pipes to clear it, he had to remove the toilet from the wall. Once this was achieved it was a simpler matter to clear the blockage and restore flow.

Yesterday we received a phone call in the office from the customer who could not have been happier with the service.

"Dot in the office was so cheerful and helpful... the engineer was friendly, helpful and polite, a lovely man"

Home Buyers Survey

We received a call from a customer who was selling a house and buying a new one. In the process, he learned about our Home Buyers Surveys because the buyer of his house was using our service! Our customer observed the skills of our engineer, Mark, and later phoned the office to request the same survey for his new house. Although he expressed that he would be happy with any of our engineers he had been very impressed with Mark so we ensured that Mark was the engineer on the case.

Mark carried out the CCTV survey of the lines and our customer had this to say about it:

"Please thank everyone who has been involved with my recent survey report. They have all been most helpful and professional."
